Rose Winer (CC '13). Rose oversees the WELL Building Standard™ (WELL) Community concept, combining public health research with design best practices to support health equity and social inclusion in the built environment. She also manages the WELL Community Standard, a neighborhood-scale certification promoting inclusive, sustainable, and livable communities. Prior to joining IWBI, Rose managed the Built Environment and Energy portfolios for the Clinton Global Initiative, where she advised cross-sector leaders on executing impact-oriented projects addressing domestic sustainable development challenges. Rose started her career on The Walt Disney Company’s Corporate Citizenship Environment & Conservation team, where she directed programs driving employee engagement in sustainable workplace practices to reduce the Company’s footprint. A Los Angeles native, Rose received her B.A. in Sustainable Development from Columbia University and will enroll at MIT in the Fall to pursue her Master’s of Urban Planning.
